Am I the only loser out there who meets mins and applied to everyplace under the sun and haven't heard anything? Just because my resume is in crayon do you think they don't call? This sucks! Am I doing something wrong or am I just a loser!

The only way you can redeme yourself is to start meeting chicks online.

I had mine walked in to two. I have 1100 and 150 and its getting me nowhere. There is people out there with far less getting hired as well. I suppose its back to sallie mae for time building money.

Dude, today is your lucky day!! I just ran across the only sure thing in aviation....Tab Express. They are so short of pilots right now that they are advertizing in Flying magazine for pilots. You need to send them a resume ASAP before anyone else finds out about them. When I called their pilot recruiter/financing dept. guy he told me that my resume was very competitive for a potential new hire, and I only soloed last week. Good luck.........

I hear this place called Gulfstream is hiring as well. Shhhhhhh....

I think I am going to surrender all my ratings and go to the Delta Connection Academy and start over. They guarantee! an interview. I heard it is reasonably priced as well.

Frank Lorenzo is looking for a group of pilots to start up a new airline somewhere in the southpacific.

Well, at least in the south pacific, Lorenzo pay rates might provide a decent living.

thats a bit of an exageration, is it not? You really cant have much less than what you got and meet mins for most regionals. Scenic is the only airline that i know that is hiring with mins less than 1000/100.

I beleive my time is pretty close to what Scenic has Listed.....................Do U think it would be worth the hassle of commuting all the way from the NE and doing the Reserve thing at Scenic?????I've been doing the instruction thing for about 5 months now, and I already want out???

WOW. 5 months. You should apply to the majors with that kind of dedication!

2 years flight instruction, and 1 year night freight. Quit whining!
Put your time in like everyone else does and quit looking for the quick shortcut to the regionals. The regionals are all shook up and in turmoil right now anyway.
Lots of freight operators are looking for pilots, and a couple of them are even worth working for. Gain the experience and then go 121 if you want to. You will be much better off.

My advice to you is to quit whining.

Take it easy on the guy. After 5 months or so we all would of liked to have moved on to bigger things. If you had the opportunity to get on with an airline after 5 months of flight instruction, dont tell me you guys would have turned it down?? I wouldn't have.

The good Lord would have miracled his ass into an airline job by now if he thought he deserved it...it's time for this guy to move on or risk spending the rest of his life living in a beat up trailer, flying ag planes.

Make sure that you're not enrolling in a school/bridge program/PFT program that's run by the scumbag Williams family (Airline Training Academy). Lets not forget that Jim Williams and his son Rob duped dozens of us out of $2 million+. Impatient low timers are prime targets for a$$holes like the Williams family.

Maybe you have answered your own question!! Another "wonder pilot" that thinks a couple of months bashing a C152 around the circuit means he / she is prime for a shinny jet!!

Get hours for a 135 gig, get some experience, get some credability then try for the regionals.

george dubya, have you tried applying to flightexpress? i hear they are hiring with 1100. its not a regional, but they pay for training and pay you for your hotel. thats more than some regionals. and you'll get some great experience.

Aren't the ExpressJet mins 600/100? At least they were around six months ago...
