Aw, RJDC is just another flamebater looking for a rise, it made me laugh.

Seriously, people stay or go for their own individual reasons. Everybody has their own situation and life to take care of, and maybe the Big-A isn't their only source of income.

For some of us, who don't want to be treated like migrant workers, its time for greener pastures. It really bites when Mgmt. has a nice pizza party with Kool-Aid for the pilots in December, just to furlough in March.

brownie, sounds like you have some personal issues with Arrow, did you work there?

The question is why do you people that keep getting furloughed from Arrow keep coming back? Is it because nobody else will hire you?

HEY HEY HEY

are you buggin my nigga! Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit Don't make me pop a cap in yo ass punk ass biaaaaaaatch

Same kind of "C" check furloughs going on over at TradeWinds Airlines.

Yup, it is 36th street and anything goes...

There will always be jobs to have there, high turnover and a hevy jet stepping stone for some.

Quite a few Eastern, Pan-Am and Braniff guys have a earned a check over there on 36th.

These days ya have AA, UAL, U and DAL guys doing it too.

Yup, a job at Fed-Ex or Southwest would probably taste better, but they don't hire everybody that needs a job.
Sooo the rest of us have to put food on the table by hauling old heavies to South America at night, for half price.

Been there, done that and got the T-shirt.:D

A buddy of mine went through the same "C" Check furlough at Centurion, but he was fortunate enough to get picked up right away at Omni.

Ya, the furloughs suck, but as others have said. It's 36th. st. For those that have been around the block, know exactly what that means. For those that jumped from a regional to fly a heavy, your finding out what that means. For the others, they just don't know...

(oh, and I've been through the Big-A 3 times. As someone said, it's a paycheck)

Absolutely, and people should know. Thanks to the 1,000+ people who have viewed this thread so far.

What would the categories be?

Award for Outstanding Management?

Most Beans Counted?

Longest Pilot Furlough?

Least amount of on-time departures?

Oh, how about "Most creative interpretation of union contract?"

I love the, duty doesn't start till your report to the airport....but not before the 2 hr call from scheduling. Your tip is scheduled for 22z.......but alas, no call till 6z. Start the 16hr clock from there........
