that's fine. It doesn't make them any less of a person. It doesn't make FA's "the help".

We're doing a job. Unless you're of the "the only important people are pilots" mentality. If so, it's a good thing you're locked up front and don't have to deal with the real world. Keep on living in your fantasy land where pilots are god.

Touchy...did you get fired from your second job at hooters or something?

You sound like you are pretty thin skinned. I bet your a hoot on overnights.

Let me guess, everbody seems to shut up when you come around? Watch out for her, she won't like that joke. You don't want the PC police on your case.

Between trying not to piss off the homosexuals, feminists, blacks, whites, indians, mexicans, and muslims, and fly the plane....now I have to worry about making a joke about dating the help!!!!!

Man this job use to be fun.

Oh by the way to the poor guy that got nailed by the F/A..........Keep it in your pants and don't date the help and you wont have that problem!!!!!

The REAL mistake...

Don't get married in the first place. Problem solved. They are all whores and respond best when treated acccordingly.:D

Losing battle, Regional FA. You should never argue with a fool. They'll drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Some of us are aware that FA's are crew. Given the choice, I'll take an FA over an FO any day. Especially if the FO is a hotshot who thinks their dues are paid at 800 hours TT and that has yet to gain the maturity and experience to even know what they don't know. More than once I've thanked my lucky stars the FA had the back under control while I had to manage both an emergency and an FO.

I'm not sure how this thread (dubious topic to begin with) degenerated into a bash-a-fellow-crewmember party. FAs, these guys are just trying to get a reaction out of you. Stop taking the bait...they just love getting you wrapped around an axle.

As for me, I see no reason to rile up anyone who brings me my crewmeal, gate checks my bag while I'm commuting, or anyone who takes my jumpseat form down to the plane. Geez, that's just common sense.

Nobody. It seems I'm the only one who's figured it out. Thankfully, I've learned from the mistakes of those around me. No vaginamony coming out of this wallet!:D :D :D :D :D

I know some nice women I can set you up....er, I mean, arrange a date with....

Aw Standby, your ruining all the fun!!! Besides, she hadn't completly lost it and gone ballistic yet!!!!! I just love the ones that take this job way too seriously.

We are high speed bus drivers and they are a high altitude waitress. Sure we have our serious concerns and professionalism but when it is taken to the extreme it does nobody any good.

Lighten up there regional F/A.... and you may find that some of that attitude you kept getting from the pilots was of your own doing!!!! I never treated a F/A with anything but good manners and respect..........unless they copped an attitude from the git go, And aside from one guy that needed to be neutered I never saw a fellow pilot do anything uncalled for unless it was provoked. I actually had an F/A tell me "since your a new Captain I am going to tell you how I like my airplane run!" Well that was about 10 seconds after our first introductions....so you can guess how it went from there. I never did find out how she liked her airplane run! I heard that two trips later the C/A tossed her off a trip. I think she was eventually taken off line and given some other job.

Hmmm I'm rambling here.... Point is lighten up , have fun, you may actually enjoy your job if you do!

no, with you I was just saying that I personally agreed without personally using the term. I wasn't offended.

What you really fail to notice is that I don't give a sh!t. I have stated elsewhere that I love my job and I've had only a handful of bad experiences in as many years. I'm not worried about it. This one was a non-offended comment that was taken astray later and I defended myself there. The original comment I made was "I agree, without referring to myself as 'the help'" what's so "bent out of shape" about that?

THe handful of pilots that I've had a scuffle with have had scuffles with most other FA's out there. It's not a problem for me. Remember, everything here should be taken with a grain of salt. You're reading words on a screen. You add the level of emotion. You decide how worked up I am. Thus far, I've never been anything but rational and calm when I've typed. Any other emotion is that solely belonging to the interpretation of the reader.
