If you're following SWA into 9L at KFLL, go slow and keep your distance. SWA tends to roll to the end to avoid having to wait for JetBlue and Continental pushes to clear the taxiway into the SWA gates. If you get too close to the SWA fluff, you might find yourself going around. Forwarned is forearmed. ATC ain't gonna help, you gotta help yourself.

Now they'll never hire me!

Forewarned?

Right--that's what they do--you've solved for that intangible variable.
The equation is Y+G+B+S+M=Calvin.

Aye, yes I can see a conspireacy here.

SWA is indeed out to screw the other guys on short final.

Be careful out there folks, SWA means business these days.;)

ATC in FLL is worthless. They could learn something from the folks in HOU or MDW about moving airplanes.

Some of the problem is Miami approach/departure. They don't always have a slot in the departure corridors to let FLL let a plane take off and require more distance between FLL departures to fit an airplane with the Northbound flow with all the MIA departures. The 9,000' hold down when going West or NW is a pain but it's also due to the MIA departures.

The politicians in FLL are also way behind in getting a 2nd runway for air carrier ops too.

If you need the extra 6 seconds it takes SWA to roll to the end, then maybe the problem isn't SWA.

Everybody knows SWA is famous for the end of the runway exits.
