Some of you may remember a thread I started several weeks ago about problems I had with the climbto350.com site charging my credit card multiple times, and being unwilling to fix the situation. As of my last posting on the subjest I was waiting to hear from the individual I was dealing with after sending him my telephone number. Well he never called so I e-mailed again a week later again demanding that they reverse the improper charges and cancell any future subscription.

Again I was told (for the sixth time) that I would need to give him my CC number before he could fix things. As any reasonable person would, I refused. This is the last e-mail I recieved from the person at climbto350.com:

"Just contact your credit card company and go away, we can't do anything else unless you help out!"

Not only this, but they also charged me AGAIN for April, long after I notified them in writing that I wished to terminate my membership.

Well I took his advice and took my statements and all of the e-mails to the bank. They told me there was absolutely no reason to give my CC number to them again, and that I was absolutely correct in refusing to do so. They then referred me to their Credit Card Fraud Division. The result; the credit card is cancelled, a new one is being issued, my account was credited for the three charges, and my bank is going to be having a little chat with climbto350.com.

Anyone contemplating sending money to these people may want to check out my earlier thread (Beware climbto350.com!), and take note of the old saying "let the buyer beware".

Flywrite... that exact same thing happened to me too. I finally got hold of the guy who runs the site, and fixed the problem but not without avoiding some heated words he was not professional at all about it.
