Best shoes for walking thru. deice fluid???

I know that deice fluid eats away at the bottoms of shoes. What shoes last the longest and hold up thru. the winter?

Sears sells a black heavy duty work shoe that I used one season for walking through that chemical slush. It made it through OK. Easy to polish up, still works, but they look and feel heavy on the feet, almost like bricks. You will have to definitely take them off going through security. They are also steel toed.
