I am taking 6 months off from work in order to do my flight training. I am looking for a school that can take me from PPL to ATP within 6 months. What reputable school do you recommend that can take someone from PPL to ATP within 6 months? I am taking off work in order to devote 100% of my time to flying. Flying on the side is just taking too long. (Yes, I am using the search function to research, but wanted to post this in the mean time-thanks for any input)

PVT to COM-ASMEL & CFI-AIM in 6 months is pretty ambitious as it is. In an excellerated program like that, expect very little time off and flying 6-7 days a week.

I'd suggest AllATPs without all the regional jet prep BS, or a hometown school with the aircraft & desire to make you their #1 priority...and 25-50K in guaranteed revenue over 6 months is a mighty fine way to accomplish that.

Make sure you get your CFI tickets, cuz if you do some ungodly expensive 'direct hire program' and it doesn't work out for you, you would be almost unemployable.
