Best location for 900ex type rating

I was wonderong which would be a better location for undertaking a Falcon 900ex type rating with Flight Safety, Moonachie, NJ or DFW Airport, TX.

I am travelling in April, my company has me booked in Moonachie, but I have been told it's not a very safe area.

Teterboro, NJ (Moonachie) is fine... I would recommend staying at the Glenpointe Marriott in Teaneck or the Reneissance nearby the school... also the Embassy Suites in the Meadowlands is decent...

Either School is fine, however TEB is a busier facility...

They have booked me into the Hampton Inn.

I also will be sitting the ATP exam as I have a NZ ATPL [equivalent to your ATP] They have given me the Gleims red book and I am sitting the exam at milionare [I think].

I like Simuflite way better than FS. If you got some money in your pocket the NYC area has way better distractions on your days off but the costs are significantly higher also DFW weather will be much better but you might not see much of it. I live 50 miles south of Moonachie and have spent alot of time there...use good common sense and you'll have no problems safetywise. My buddy just finished DA50 recurrent there and said it was OK.

The TEB local area is FINE. Stop being such a pu$$y.

It may be ugly, smell bad, and have lots of traffic -- but its safe.

get out to Steves Sizzlin Steaks on RT 17 (scenic country drive) have a slab of beef and a few cold ones and relax!!!
