I am in Oakland for the weekend and am in a hotel near BART. Being a freight dog, my budget is limited so looking for any deal for pilots for the weekend, otherwise I will be Barting it.

I usually search the net for car rental coupons and discount codes ahead of time by using a searh engine. Budget has good ones online except when their lot is near sold out, then they're asking for a mint. The asian guy at the budget counter knows me by face and always gives me a free upgrade.

Wish I had seen this sooner. Bart is a good way to get around. It will save you serious money if you need to get into SF.

The asian guy must have a thing for pilots. I got upgraded to an SUV from an economy car for $22 a day.

Its gotten down to about 290 a gallon in Oaktown. Sounds like you've got a killer deal on the SUV though have a nice trip
