Airport 1975

Pilot in a Baron has heart attack and flies right into 747 cockpit. Capt. Murdock gets lowered by winch into the cockpit from a helo and flies the big "cat" to the ground! YeeeeeHA!

With Heston as the legendary "Captain Murdock!" Man, some GREAT one liners of ultimate cheesiness in that flick...

Capt. Murdock through clenched wall-of-teeth: "Climb... baby... CLIMB"

After watching that movie, I wish I could be Capt. Murdock when I grow up!

Worst... movie... ever...

the lead actor, kevin something something, the guy that actually owns that airline in the movie, came to my college and did an hour's worth of stand up. he wasn't even funny there either. the guy who did a 20 min. opening bit for him was funnier than he was. the movie was just dumb. i saw the trailer and freaked out, but i was disappointed. i really like "Airplane", though. anything Captain Oveur says is priceless!!

No, sir, I've never been up in a plane before.
You ever seen a grown man naked?"
"Joey, have you ever been to a Turkish prison?"

the scene with kareem and joey going at it is really funny too. oh, to have been alive in the seventies...
