thanks man, but i got that far. i was hoping someone had more info on salary and such besides for the ubiquitous "Varies with position and experience."
I see them in MSP every night. They fly UPS cargo in Queen Airs and Be-99s. From MSP they mainly fly in minnesota and western WI. I think they also have a mini-hub in FSD with 2-3 Be-99 flying UPS stuff in the Dakotas.
I fly cargo for a similar company here in the midwest and I hear them all the time on the radio. Some of their Queen Airs are still in the Army paint scheme. A Kinda new twist to flying warbirds! They are old machines though.
I was in Bemidji for about 90 minutes about a month ago, and saw a 99 on the ramp. I didn't notice the tail number, though.
Up until that morning, I had never heard of the place. If my passenger goes back there again soon (he has family there) I'll ask some questions for you.
I used to be on a run out of MSP everyday and they taxi out at freakin' V1...they seemed like a nice group of people though. One lady I talked to had been on the same run for 17 yrs. Everyone there seemed to be pretty local. You'd almost have to be with that horrible climate in MSP. My post probably isnt much help but hope you found some good stuff.
they run about 20 aircraft, although i cant seem to find out how many of which. their stable includes BE-99, 90, 65, 58, and a small piper of some sort. most everything runs out of MSP but theres a few bases in North Dakota. pay runs something like 70 bux a trip in the small aircaft and about 80 bux in the bigger. tack on 30 a day per diem, and youre at 100 a day+-, with average of 20 tripos a month. their reqs are 1500TT for a piston slot and 2000TT for a turbine, but it dosent sound like they are actively hiring as much as accepting resumes for future need.
...and yes, its dam cold up there in the dead of winter
