I was offered 30k to be an FO, but the position went away. I thought 30k was about 50% too low.

In the Eastern half of Michigan...thats what the salary was $30,000 but that sounded kinda low. Only 4 hard days off per month.

Is it a 135 or 91? How is the ops tempo? Would they type you?

30k does seem low to me, but if they fly alot its WAY too low, especially given only 4 hard days off per month.

Others with more experience should provide more info...

in that area of the country an f.o. should get in the 40's and the captain should make at least 65. now factor in training if youre not typed and take a few off those numbers for the first year.
