I am trying to find out the service ceiling and single engine service ceiling for a Beech Baron BE58 which has 285 HP a side and no turbocharger.

Thanks.

I don't have my POH with me but from what I remember, it has no listed ceiling. You have to work through the performance charts backwards to come up with an estimated ceiling. I'll look at my manual when I get it and let you know if I find anything different.

Edit:
I guess it wouldn't be able to help you anyways. I wasn't thinking. Ours have 300 per side.

18,600 service ceiling. As for SE service ceiling, based on MAX Wt. of 5400lbs. and Standard day is approx 6000ft. If you drop the weight to 4900lbs it's about 8400ft. Why?
