Avbug... my guess is that they wouldn't want you and you wouldn't take the offer.

Uh, do you think! And after meeting him they would not extend a job offer, so him turning it down would not be an option.

I think what Noli is saying is that everybody gets something different based on their level of experience. A Learjet guy with 2,000 hours in type, current school, and a letter in the aircraft can probably get a little more than a guy who has been riding around in the left seat at a 91 company for 250 hours. It also doesn't sound like he wants to tell you what he is making, so get over it! I would say it is safe to say that he is making somewhere between $30K and $50K if he is a BE20 PIC. Probably safe to say he is making between $40K and $70K if he is an LJ PIC. Would that answer have been good enough for you guys? I doubt it! Perhaps he is just FOing it and can't really say what Captains make. A lot of companies want you to keep what you make to yourself. It is not appropriate conversation and can cause some serious morale problems once folks know what others make. So apply and find out or just zip it.

Thanks... well said... wish I had the words before. Might have saved ABVUG some heartache and heartburn.
