How are those Expressjet E145s doing for you too? At least Delta shows passengers ahead of time that they will fly on an RJ, so they can actually choose whether or not they want to fly on it. Your airline is making plenty of "one time Jetblue flyers." Please continue to make a fool out of yourself and your airline. General Lee backs up his opinions at least.

What?
Another ARROGANT statement from one of the world's greatest airline (formerly) pilots?

All customers who are booked on the "Expressjet" substituted flights will be contacted and informed of the equipment change. They are offered the choice of remaining on the flight and given a $25 voucher for future travel on JetBlue or can rebook (of course no fee) to a different flight with EMB equipment (with Live TV/XM Radio).

So try again with your JB bashing.

Yeah really. People who actively avoid RJ's during their ticket buying decision phase are very, very rare. The few who actually fit into that category (not the people who simply complain about RJ's, which is everyone, but the people who actually, actively avoid them) are the road warrior business travellers who rarely if ever flew on us in the first place. So I disagree with the premise that we're creating one time flyers on us because of a single 1.5 hour leg on an E145, when they had the option to rebok anyway and/or compensated, and were notified in advance anyway.

And even if that were true, which its not, to then say that said customer will then book with a legacy in the future as a direct result of their one time E145 experience on JB, despite the high odds they will end up on an RJ anyway with a legacy...well that's just laughable.

It is still a shock to most passengers I am sure.(that is why they are getting a $25 gift certificate or voucher)

You seem a bit testy. Your nervousness is showing through your response. Don't worry, Mr. Chew will whip you into shape.
