all large banks wil give you $hit service. There is little money in consumer banking...most just have branches because they HAVE to.

They certainly are not interested in the average Joe Pilots paycheck. They lose money tracking your 10K balances.

Stick with a local small bank IMHO. A place where they know you and want your business.

I always try to keep my money local.

When BofA bought my local bank a few years ago I closed my account and went over to a local credit union.

No regrets.
 
If you can get USAA (you or family in the US military to qualify) then I would suggest their banking since they reimburse you the atm fees that other banks charge to use them so you can use almost any atm (there is a limit on how much they will reimburse and some of the no name atms charge a ridiculous fee).
 
the one nice thing about a big bank like bofa, when you go to other cities/countries/etc you have a much easier time withdrawing money
