Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you know what is going on with Bankair out of West Columbia, SC this days. Are they hireing at this time, how many, and what type of planes do they operate, what is the pay like for CPT's and FO's, etc.

Thanks very much.

They are still here. They have a fleet of MU2's and a few LR25's. As of about 9 months ago they had no openings. I'll send you thier fax number when i get home tonight.

The Lears I have seen are 35's, and the MU's have shrunk somewhat in number. They used to have some piston twins, but no more. I have also seen the stack of resumes on the CP's desk.

It's a BIG stack.

The question mark that I see is what plans will be developed to offset the shrinking number of checks which will be shipped over the next ten years. Airnet is broadening charter and cargo. If I can find out what will happen at Bankair, I'll let you know.

Here is the number to AIR BP @ CAE. Bankair have their offices located here. They can get you connected with the CP. I appologize, I did have the CP's business card but seemed to have missed placed it. Anyway the number is 803-822-8332 and fax number is 803-822-8775. Best of luck.
