Hi all,

I was wondering, what is going on with BankAir at this time?
Are they hiring, what the future looks like for Bank Air, payscale, upgrades, schedule, etc.

P.S. How hard is to get a TEB as a base?

Thanks very much.

Bankair is a solid company...however the Fed Reserve is undergoing a large scale consolidation of operations. Because of this the Fed has not bid out contracts recently on the normal cycle but instead has chosen to extend current contracts until they have a clearer picture of their needs...sooo short term things look good but long term all check carriers are gonna get squeezed due to the proliferation of electronic funds transfer. Pay is as low as the owner thinks you'll take...after all he is businessman...but generally runs around 30k to start with SIC training conducted by SIMCOM. One of the better operations "in this sector of the BIZ" if you get my drift. Only thing is Johnny has thousands of resumes on the desk. Good Luck

Unless you know someone, particularly the Captain you would be flying with, odds are extremely long. Say roughly the odds of the Tigers winning the World Series this year. However like all positions, show enough interest for long enough and it may work out. Only sched I know of is overnight. You start on Monday night and are done for the week by Friday morning. Not a bad gig with having every weekend off, not to mention days as well. Just have to be able to adjust to the overnight hours.
