I'm not a bankair guy but I meet them every night. As of Friday, they're still flying and the guys don't seem too paniced. One of the routes is going to a different city in a week or two, but AFAIK, no one is losing their job.

Well I can tell you this, the check hauling thing will be a thing of the past. The loads have cut down 3/4 of what they used to be. There is only one small push in CVG when there used to be two big ones. I saw 5 Lears and a few MU-2s (Two without engines) at BKA location. I won't hold out for it to be there in the future. I guess they will be looking for other work.

Oh, quite right. Fed runs are certainly on their way out. I'm just not quite ready to say that Bankair is. I know that we have a contingency plan for when the fed stuff goes away, I imagine they do too.

I flew at BankAir from 1999-2002 and it was a great flying gig. LittleLearboy, MD11DRVR and Learjunky are good guys. I have a relative who flies there on a part-time basis. I will ask him what is going on these days there. The owners are very smart business owners..I am sure they will do smothing different if the fed stuff goes away.
