I'm not a bankair guy but I meet them every night. As of Friday, they're still flying and the guys don't seem too paniced. One of the routes is going to a different city in a week or two, but AFAIK, no one is losing their job.

Well I can tell you this, the check hauling thing will be a thing of the past. The loads have cut down 3/4 of what they used to be. There is only one small push in CVG when there used to be two big ones. I saw 5 Lears and a few MU-2s (Two without engines) at BKA location. I won't hold out for it to be there in the future. I guess they will be looking for other work.

Oh, quite right. Fed runs are certainly on their way out. I'm just not quite ready to say that Bankair is. I know that we have a contingency plan for when the fed stuff goes away, I imagine they do too.

I flew at BankAir from 1999-2002 and it was a great flying gig. LittleLearboy, MD11DRVR and Learjunky are good guys. I have a relative who flies there on a part-time basis. I will ask him what is going on these days there. The owners are very smart business owners..I am sure they will do smothing different if the fed stuff goes away. Good luck to anyone who works there that is on flightinfo
