Any advice about companies that would be hiring out of Florida for charter work flying to the Bahamas? Contact information, website, etc?

I spent about 6 months flying skydivers in Freeport. If you have the time there are several operators flying cargo in and out of FXE, PBI and a few out of FLL.

There are a couple operators that fly metro's out of MIA if I recall as well, IBC is the company name as well as a DC3 operator that flies out of MIA or OPF.

Tropic Air flys Islanders out of FXE and they periodically look for pilots.

Mountain Air Cargo I think runs the fedex feeder route to the bahamas in 208's

Vintage Props and Jets does charter service to the islands, Navajo's if I recall

Chalks Ocean Airways, I don't know if they are flying again after the accident in MIA

And then there is Bimini Island Air, I've heard good and bad about it, but I have no personal knowledge

Watch out for shady operators that do 134.5 charter stuff, the FAA seems to look the other way, but if you are the one time that they don't it's a good way to end your career, or life.
