Bahamas Trip

I am flying to Nassau next week, and will be there for 3 days. I am wondering if any of you that go there often could give me some suggestions for a nice place for my crew to stay.

stay out on Paradise Isle.

Cable Beach is a cesspool - especially the marriott.

If PI is beyond your budget the Hilton downtown is decent...close to shopping but not really a "resort" if thats your thing.

Atlantis on Paradise Island. If that's not within the budget, Comfort Suites next door to Atlantis will get you guest privileges at Atlantis (pool, beach, etc.) Atlantis is a pretty nice place.

Take lots of $$$. have the paperwprk ready ahead of time I think it is $10.00 per person for the landing fee I know that's what it was when I went there last.


Haver this completed befor landing will make customs simple & quick.

Just recently stayed at the Hilton and would not reccommend it. Very noisy, the beach shared the water with the cruise ships, and the shower water seemed dirty. Was very disappointed in our stay there. The comfort suites is definitely nice due to getting access to the Atlantis. The Wyndham cable beach is decent....definitely a nicer hotel and beach than the Hilton.

I did a lot of charters in and out of nassau. take off VFR, pick up ifr with miami center..save you some TIME which burns less fuel
