Bahamas self fly between Christmas and New Years

Hey guys,

My wife and I are looking to do some flying around the bahamas after christmas. Need to find an aircraft. Open to suggestions need something reliable and preferably speedy. I'm an ATP and such so if any one has any ideas or suggestions please let me know.

In my opinion, ya can't go wrong with a Baron. If that's not a possibility, then a nicely equipped Skylane might not be a bad option.

You should be able to rent a cirrus in florida, I think in pompano they have some for rent. they are speedy S/E 170 kts. but you will have to get check out in it, and that will be expensive.
