Any suggestions on where to stay or not to stay in the bahama's.

we're flying into Great Harbour Island. we are able to reposition and stay where we like if we dont want to stay there. sorry for the confusion. any ideas appreciated. just looking for somewhere to hang out for 4 days and hit some good resturants and maybe some live music.

the harbor island i have been to is on the northern tip of eleuthera, by north eleuthera airport. if this is the harbour island to which you are referring you are about to go to one of the best destinations anywhere. small, friendly, and very expensive. there are no cheap hotels but some are less than others. we stayed at runaway hill and loved it. food is very expensive, but there are some takeaway stands by the marina that will plow you with cracked conch and other local dishes for a few bucks. the island can be navigated by golf cart in under 1/2 hour. you will love it! if this is not the same harbour island, sorry
