Unfortunately, I've seen to many posts asking about this "organization". If it's a prank and designed to pull chains, so be it. But if it's a valid group that does some good and benefits a fellow aviation brethren, like QBs, in a quiet, professional way, then maybe folks should be discretely answered, via PM or other means and possibly be invited to be a part of this. I'm sure there's a lot of good folks out there who could contribute or benefit from a good group in support of their fellow aviators. If in fact BAFAN is for real. Other than that, I guess the joke is on all of us. Any OA or Wood Badge folks out there.
 
So then what are OA and Wood Badge? (answerable via PM?)
 
My dad was OA and Wood Badge and I was in OA for a short while before I got out of the bigger organization.
 
Gawdamm, I can't take you guys grovelling around in this pitiful fashion anymore, on this snipe hunt to discover the nature of this Bafan thing. Enough already. The reason they are so secretive about it, is because it's an association of airmen who, how shall I put this......like other airmen. I mean really like other airmen. OK ??? Not that there's anything wrong with that. No, not at all.

Now can we get back to some real aviation topics ? SHEEEESH !!

What you call grovelling in pitiful fashion, I call light hearted humor. Hence the blue face with the winking eye. These BAFAN guy's seem to enjoy humor.
There is more to flightinfo than just this thread, if you're interested in aviation topics. Flying is my job and I try to leave all that stuff at the hangar.:)

Uhh.. we also like airwomen too..... I mean hot airwomen...... those that are out there...
 
If so, did you check out the December issue of Playboy? The POY (Playmante Of the Year) candidates include a girl who was, at the time of her centerfold, a private pilot and is now a CFI in Orlando... HOT!

Would it be sexual harrassment when she comes to work for us to ask for her autograph... ON her centerfold spread pictorial? ;) Guess I should keep that issue... oh wait, I keep all of them!

yup..my buddy did his ATP with her..... he said she is as nice as she is hot...
