I'm thinking about heading back to school to get that college degree i've neglected so long. I'm thinking about Aviation Management at Riddle. I currently fly fulltime at a large fractional. I want to stay at the frac i'm at and possibly attend part time. My questions are:

1. Have any of you guys/gals gone back to school after a long layoff like me? (I'm 32 yrs old). How was the transition?

2. Does anyone attend Riddle full or part-time (correspondence or on-line course) AND keep their current flying job?

3. Has anyone chosen this degree and can tell me how they liked the classwork?

I'm only using Riddle as an example, because they seem to be the only place I can go to school and fly at the same time. Also, I'm trying to get the most credits I can with all of my aviation experience. Having the 8/7 schedule, I would not be able to attend Night classes at a "normal" college.

I have read and understand the other posts on this board about the best degrees to get and all that stuff. I just plan on starting with aviation and plan on going from there.

Thanks!!

I'll be starting on the 18th of December. Age 43. I'm keeping the job and doing the online thing. Should be done in about two years, as I already have an AA degree.

Good luck...
