Thanks, but the way that I look at it is we have been attacked in the US by terrorist on 9-11, very badly. Nothing has ever happened in the UAE, so at least to this point the UAE is far more protected then the US, statistically speaking.

DUH......cause thats where all the f*ckin dumbass towel head terrorists live!!!

You don't $hit where you eat.

Oh yes, I forgot how well behaved they are in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some people sound smarter when they dont talk.

I spent a year in U.A.E about ten years ago in the Navy, are there still all those hot Russian and Phillipino girls running around? I had a blast when I was there and this was ten years ago.

I am just giving you guys crap. When I originally posted about getting the NetJets interview many of the NJA guys said I would not get the job because of my view of Riddle guys.

CALDC9, look at my profile!! Legacy.

Bexair?

Hey siucavflight, I thought that you said you are working for Bexair? I have a friend there, and he is a PIC on the 604. He said his salary is $10000 per month, $110 perdium, and his schedule is 45/30, he lives in the U.S. When I told him what you are making, he said not if you are working for Bexair, He even showed me his contract, no first class tickets, only coach, so tell us all who you really work for or are you giving us a bunch of BS?

I believe that BEX is based out of Kuwait, no? The company I am at however is very similar to BEX, just a little bit better pay. Most of these places in the mid east do allow you to negotiate pay before you start over there.

Maybe I am crazy, but I had a class coming up with NetJets and I turned it down, actually talked with Dorinda today and told her that I would not be accecpting a position in the company. I had a job offer out in Dubai an I am going to take it, they are a newer fractional BEX-air http://www.bexair.com/ I was feeling pretty secure with my decision earlier, but I know that I am going to have a tough time sleeping tonight.
What do you guys think? Am I crazy? I am single, and have really nothing tying me down here in Chicago, I will be working six weeks in Dubai, then four weeks off, they will buy me a ticket to and from Dubai during all of my four week off stretches, starting pay is 12,500 a month, and 100 dollars a day per-diem for every day that you are not on your 4 week off stretch, plus 35,000 a year for living expenses.
Anyone done anything like this before? I am nervous.

Siucav,

You seem like a nice enough guy, and you have plenty of us fired up enough to consider heading over to the UAE. My company is getting ready to start a fairly large scale operation in Abu dhabi, and your posts certainly have me thinking about it.

What gives though? Did you misspeak... I mean mistype? It doesn't really matter, but it seems a bit odd.
