B6 Confirms ACK service

Actually, those flights will be flown by Cape Air (AKA Sandpiper Air)-- hopefully the lunches will still be served by Helen at the airport. She was HOT!

Jetblue's seasonal direct JFK-ACK flights are not really in competition with Cape Air... they are in competition with Continental (Express) which already runs a seasonal EWR-ACK in a 50 seat RJ.

The real story here is the codeshare between Cape Air and B6 out of Boston. Jetblue customers will be able to buy a ticket on Jetblue through Boston to Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Provincetown, etc.

Roy and AeroMass will run jetBlue out of town just like he did with Sandpiper. There is no way B6 will be able to compete.

For the short time that you blue guys will be operating out of ACK, I recommend you stop by the lunch counter at the terminal. There is a fine blonde that works there. I hear the food sucks, but she does as well... so that makes it all good.
