New hire going to the B757/67 and am wondering what type of headset to use. I currently use the Bose QC-15 with the UFLY mic, but was hoping to go with something more on the ear like the Telex 750. Are the cockpits quiet enough for that or do I need ANR still? Any words of advice? Thanks!

I use the Telex 750. Works well and I find it comfortable. I've briefly tried the Telex 850 and thought those were nice too. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely look more at the 850.

My company supplies Telex 750s in all the airplanes, which are fine. I use the Plantronics MS-50 with a molded earpiece.

In my humble opinion I would not waste hard earned money on a new headset, as soon as we hit FL180 my headset comes off and the speaker volume goes up, the sound level is quite comfortable in cruise and headsets need not be worn the entire flight. Hope this helps!
