Pan Am - Anyone that steals the name and the logo I would have to blackball, but then my old man did fly the Clipper and retire on the Whale.

Not quite stolen...from http://www.panamacademy.com/whoweare.asp?id=14

The Academy was established by Pan American World Airways in 1980 in Miami, Florida, and continued to operate even after the airline declared bankruptcy in December 1991.

AZ is nice. However, be prepared for 120 degree days. Learning to fly in that kind of conditions are not fun, trust me. Now for the flight schools in AZ. I Wouldnt touch RAA, they love to give you the big sales pitch about how good the quality of instructing is, and trust me from experience, they are not.
Pan Am is even worse. Seeing the quality of instructors that come out of that place, I wouldnt even go near there. I have seen very good flight instructors come from Westwind. But take my word. I have been an instructor and seen which school produces good students, and RAA and PanAm is not even close to cutting it.
