I'd have to put a 2nd on Jackson Hole but I'm going to have to put a big fat minus on Cabo.

Cabo is a dump. It's like putting up some streamer in your high school gym and calling it a prom. I, for the life of me, can't figure out why anyone would go there.

Aspen and Eagle are obvious choices. Palm Springs CA isn't too bad either, if you like golf.

If you just want to drink, KC has a ton of great micro-brews. Plus some great golf near by.

Cancuun is about the only Mexico destination I like.

You'll think I'm crazy here, but another great golf destination is Birmingham. You can play some of the courses on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail...plus the night life isn't all that bad.

Near Knoxville is a neat resort town if your wife likes to shop and tacky theme parks are your style.

Three things to do in Cabo. Party, Golf and Fish.

He is correct though. The ride from the airport to the resorts is almost scary.

Cabo Real was nice though. Did I mention its a Party Town.... I have never seen a club where all of the furniture was metal and bolted down because they clean it with a fire hose each night. (Squid Row)

Ok, if you can't go to New Zealand....

Napa

Kalispell

and for the east coasters in the crowd, Greenbrier, W Va

+1 jackson hole also san diego, seattle, and if you end up with a G check out Switzerland, Austria, and Italy.

Well I never seem to make it to the Golf / Fish part... do they have to put us up in resorts with free drinks?!

If your a farmer into fat girls!

Have not been to the East side lately, have you.

Whole new experience since they developed around Beech Lake......

But still not a notable destination. Not the torture it used to be though.

Asheville

Asheville. Quick access to a whole bunch of hiking, mountain biking, fishing. Great restaurant scene. It's got some great breweries, as well. As a matter of fact, there's a company that drives people around in a van from one brewery to another. You do the drinking, leave the driving to them.

I hate Cabo. I'll be down there 3 more times this month. I'm renting a car and driving up to Todos Santos or I'll get a jeep and off road it to Losinocentos. San Lucus sucks, full of scum and tourist thinking they are in real Mexico.

Some more good towns

Durango and Billings

If you're into boats and fishing, Cabo is cool. I landed a nice striped marlin when I was down there...

Puerto Vallarta, perhaps?

Juneau, Alaska, Nantucket, Marthas Vineyard, are nice in the summer. Aspen & Vail in the winter as well as Gunnison. Those are some nice US area destinations among many others

Go to Dayton, Ohio and visit the Air Force Museum...if they are into aviation. If not then find a few places that have what he is interested in. Or if they are just looking for a spectacular view then go with previously mentioned Mountain airports.

Us

Land in Monterrey. Leave in a convertible from the FBO head into the hills, Carmel, Red Woods. keep a low profile in the wineries and smile your way to the casinos of Reno through Tahoe.
The rest is summer's play.
Who said you have to go far to see the beauty of it all ??
USA all the way baby !!!

Zanzibar Tanzania!!!

Want exotic and wayyyyy cool??? I can't belive we actually went there because it was THE place I always wanted to see.... Gotta try it man!!!

Am I the only one here who likes Paris? (Downtown, not the Courtyard CDG like my previous employer chose... )

Sit out at the cafe across from the Metro stop at St. Michel in St. Germain, have a couple biere's and watch the scenery. Head back up to Leon's on the Champs for some Moules or Le Entrecote by Porte Malliot (another fine place some of my co-workers trashed)...YUM!

Eagle and ASE were great, too. TC
