Any rumors as to when Air Wisconsin may be hiring?

Also how many CRJ's are defenitely on order?

There will be no hiring until all furloughees are recalled. There are only guesses about recalls at this moment. Next year for hiring...maybe? Maybe earlier...maybe later? Maybe...?

Nothing in aviation is definite. Sorry I can't provide any real info.

I believe there are 75 CRJ's on firm order, with options for 75 additional. Staffing should be adequate until the end of the year based on orders and recalling furloughed pilots, according to the company's projections.

We are short of Fo's right now. I have had crew scheduling call for me twice in the last week to try to junior man me. They don't want to recall or hire anyone until the absolutely have to.

I wouldn't be surprised, though, if a large number of furloughed folks have found other jobs and won't be returning. If that is the case, there may be a small class or two in the fall. That's my tea leaf reading for today!
