For those of you interested in the hiring status at America West, here's the latest and greatest forecast.
From the Chief Pilot: "We're still planning on hiring 90 pilots between Jan and June and, hopefully, about the same for the remainder of the year".
This pace may not be the feverish pitch of other airlines (ie SWA: roughly 500 to be hired this year), but it's a hiring pace that hasn't been seen at AWA for quite some time.
