ABX engages in race to the bottom! But it's different, now. It's OK.

Actually, ABX pilots DID try to negotiate a concessionary contract to keep DHL flying. The company wanted more than a 60% cut and the pilots offered less than 20%. Discussions will continue.

I don't claim to be in the know on any part of the presentation. I don't even claim to be the sharpest tool in the shed. I just know that what has been presented as far as our contract negotiations (presented to the pilot group, that is) is based on the life after DHL. However, I would imagine that there is a lot more to consider in that type of proposal than just "this is what we pay the pilots".

A big part of the "new deal" involves ABX flying all the freight. Without Astar the numbers improve greatly!
