I am am co-hosting an aviation themed HD TV show called The Flightline. We premier this Saturday on Discovery's Velocity Channel.

Clearly I hope you watch, but I am more importantly looking for feedback and ideas for the show. We are not a pilot show but I think it is critical that we remain legit in the eyes of this core group. We will feature several corporate aircraft on the show and I would like some feedback on how we are portraying them. If you have feedback or ideas let me know at [email protected]

To find Velocity on your TV you can go to our website and use a channel finder in the lower right corner. www.flightline.tv

I am posting this in several Flightinfo sub forums to get a cross section of feedback and ideas. Thanks in advance and I hope you enjoy the show.

I applaud you for searching out this peer group in hopes to provide the viewing public a realistic look into the profession. Good luck with your endevour-

Thanks for the support guys. Let me know what you think of the PC-12NG piece in episode 1 and if it passes the smell test. It is intended for both the non-pilot and the pilot and I want the features to be on target and appropriate for both audiences.

Any thoughts on the PC-12NG piece? I want to make sure it came off in the right direction. Hard to tell as I watched in about 20 times in post work and that jades your eye a bit.

That Apex panel is ridiculous. Id love to know what kind of draw they have on the batteries. Overall I thought the episode was pretty good. Congrats btw-

yep, good show, great look. Just work on the dialogue a little so it doesn't sound like you guys are reading off a script so much. :)

We did some talking about the load shedding the PC-12NG does but I didn't get into the level of battery and emergency power situations on this flight. Good question though as with one gen it has to be a factor to be considered.

I think you were referring to the stand up talking parts in between. The first stand ups were a little stiff (we have been off the air for a while) so I will work on that. It is tough as we try to be a little gitchy without looking like a couple of dorks. Noted and working on it though.

We are working with a international training company on an advertising package. They asked about corporate pilots that watch the show.

Can someone here give me a quote and your aircraft flown to use in the sales pitch? Something along the lines of I watch the show every week yaddy yadda....Captain Falcon 2000

It would be appreciated.

Paul,

Watching the show every week. DVR set for the series. My aviation enthusiast sons, 10 and 12, are watching with interest too. They especially liked the Snowbirds and Ice Fishing segments.

Falcon 2000 captain.
