Who is responsible for designing what is considered the "conventional" design that most aircraft use? ie. Cessna, Pipers, ect.

Very good guys! It was the Montgolfier brothers, Joseph and Entenne(sp). And the date was June 4th, 1783! That's why I don't like the license plate that says "First in flight". I told a guy there had been tons of flights before the Wright Bros.Definitely the MG brothers. I want to say 1783?
