I'm not trying to make this forum into a "help me with my college" forum because I noticed someone created a thread about a college paper.

Anyway, I have to give a 7-10 minute informative speech and I am wanting to do the speech on the FAA somehow. Wether it's about how the airlines get aircraft maintenance inspections (not as thorough as people may think) or whatever.

I'm just asking if people could give me some good web sites that I could find some information about any of that kind of stuff.

Thanks in advance!

FAA

Good topic. I'd start with the FAA's website, www.faa.gov . See what's on there. I'd also run a search on the Federal Aviation Act of 1958 for background on the FAA's origins. I found this one on the Age 60 Rule on Avweb, http://www.avweb.com/articles/age60history .

You might also run a search on Pete Quesada, who was the first FAA Administrator.

Hope these help. Sorry, I don't supply Cliff Notes. :)
