William E. Dubois here on assignment on two different stories: One for AOPA Pilot and one for General Aviation News. For Pilot, we're doing an article on owner-assisted annuals and I was wondering how various IAs feel about them. Do you like owners involved? What do you like them to do? Not do? For GA News, the piece is answering a reader question about IA/aircraft owners doing there own annuals. I've found a number of IAs who do thier own, but I'm wondering if there are any of you who don't think that's a good idea. I look forward to hearing from you!
