All of these boards rely on the same thing. That said, I posted a position we are filling on Avianation and AEPS. I did not post it on climbto350 or planejobs.
The question is --- should they represent that these are exclusive jobs only for them or should they bring their members all the jobs they find out about whether or not they are someone elses.
You can answer that one.
The other fact is that we are hiring a crew and these boards are where we got them. Only AEPS is formated in a way that allows you to do an effective search so all the others are a compromise.
Avianation was created by the person who was originally creating the software for climbto350 and Planejobs was created by Jim Dent, the founder of Planejobs.

I stand by my statement that the listings are either copied or bogus and are posted after placed elsewhere. The owners are trying to fund their own retirement program from unemployed pilots with useless information.

If you know anyone getting filthy rich off these unemployed pilots from these sites, please let me know who and where.
By the way, just for your information, prior to September 11, the vast majority of members to AEPS and or Climbto350 and others were employed pilots, not unemployed pilots.
While today that may be changed, of the people that I interviewed for this corporate job, most are currently employed by someone.

just my 2 cents......
I am glad that the job sites share posts i would rather see a position advertised on several sites than miss a single post that may be just the one position i really want and could have gotten.......... I used to subscribe to all the job sites i could find and that just made these sites money........ I think the worst, most expensive one was AEPS. For over 4 years i was a member, never got one response or call back ....now i know i am not the most desirable pilot out there but .....4 years no hits ....hmmmmmm............. i like planejobs i think it gets a lot of posts and the price is reasonable.... climb 350 is good too............. i think that you willl have to apply the scenerio.............. what is the difference between a real #$$%^% bar and a really great bar ?? answer: one pretty, willing woman ....

AEPS was the strongest and best especially with regional and fractional carriers. Climbto350 was probably the second most popular with pilots but not really even a factor with many employers as it had no search feature and no members to speak of. UPAS was the strongest until Delta quit and 9/11 came along as far as major carriers went.
The fact is that if one had Delta and no other one, you would have to be member. There are too many jobs across this country that you would never see or find without these services.
The advantage to the employer is that they can screen people and hence you may never get a call.

AviaNation appears to be a new site - it must be hard to earn an instant industry recognition. Whoever is posting jobs in there - must've gotten used to posting them to other sites. So it does not surprise me that hiring managers post their jobs first on the sites they are more familiar with.
Considering their newness - they are not bad at all. Does that mean I should join? It is a personal call really. None of them seems to be much better or worse.
