Avg # of yrs Spent on Furlough??

Can anyone articulate how many months/years the avg Major/Regional Airline pilot has spent furloughed. (To my knowledge, there has been 3 cycles 10 years apart...early 80s, 90s & 01.)

JUST WANT DATA/FACTS...NO FLAME BAIT.

7 years and 3 months from July 1st, 1991 to October, 1998.

Now, November 5, 2002 to present. Not going back again though.

I had a professor in college who was recalled by Pan Am after 17 years on furlough.
