G200-

If this is true, I agree with you. But where does this guy say that he will be paying for training? Furthermore, where is there a job on a GV for 25k a year? The guy would'nt be asking for avg pay if he/she was taking a job for 25k. Am I missing something? Everyone needs to chill out, take two steps back, and put down the pipe. Or at least pass it to me.:)

5 posts into this thread he asks about taking a Gulfstream job for 25K/yr.

my rant was in agreement with duderino who was wondering if this "applicant" was refering to the climbto350.com ad for a PFT G550/GIII SIC in South Florida.

All Im saying is that if he takes a G550 job at 25K/yr he needs a beating, and I for one would like to know WHO the operator is.

He provided no more info, so thats all we could go on..

Thanks for the answers.

To clarify, the job pay is 45K. My scenerio was just that. I would asume that a LR/Citation pilot with low time would make 25K.

Personally, I thought the position would pay 75K. Furthermore, I realize that I am not a 5000+, 10000+, or 15000+ time pilot and the pay is right.

Some of you high time guys think us low-timers are wasting your oxygen, but you fail to see that there are more of us, trying to find the next big thing.

So its 45K....not great but maybe gets you moving up the ladder. It is also important to get a charter/corp job in front of that RJ job, so maybe its a good move..even at lower than expected pay.

All that said, thats barebones dollars (to say the least) in the Gulfstream crowd, lets hope you dont have to "finance" school at those prices--????

good luck!

more power to you. i would encourage you to go for it. think big picture. you will get that experience that is so valuable. some things never change- i can remember having 2000 hrs and thinking the same general things. :)

I know two of the guys. The other two were from AvJet.

English do you know what kind schedules they have over at Toyota and is pay good.I still can't believe that a charter company pays Gulfstream captians $150K.Do they pay that well at Toyota?

Some charter companies simply "manage" the airplanes for the owners. If those owners want to have certain pilots (and their experience) or keep those pilots, then yes "those" type salaries are certainly possible.

I agree. There ARE charter and management single airplane type jobs that pay VERY well.

I know more than a few 135 managed GIV/GV/GLEX pilots making 150-200K.
