Hello.

I'm thinking about asking the big boss for a raise, and was trying to get an idea what I could make salary wise a first year, then second year FO then first year captain with the fractionals.

I'm planning on using this info as leverage in the event that I have to say that some other jobs look more lucrative in the event that there's some hesitation.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks GooseHZ,

However, the links wouldn't let me in and said that I don't have access privileges -some error 403 message.

Rhetro,

I replied to your post on the CORP board. Be careful using frax numbers when talking to the boss. Compare apples to apples and if you want specifics from ProPilot or AvCrew let me know. Also, like I said, if you got typed but are still flying the right seat all the time they think of you as a co-pilot and will pay you as such.

If this TA passes over here though, our F/Os will start anywhere from 59K to 69K BASE salary 1st year.

Wouldn't call that average at all.

NetJets proposed base payscale for F/O's. Add 10-15% for overtime/holiday pay/working on days off (rare). Also, no cost for great insurance and 50% company match to the 401K. 18 day fixed is limited to 40% of the pilots in a particular seat/fleet. The 40% may be reduced for SIC's if 40% of the Captains don't bid for it. No junior assignments. Everyone is on 18 day pay during training (3-4 months at least). The default schedule is 7-7. There's a 15 day flex schedule but it's capped at 10% and will probably go senior. The pay is about $6K-$8K/year more than the 7 & 7.

7&7
YOS First Officer
1 $56,875
2 $58,866
3 $63,738
4 $65,969
5 $68,278
6 $72,746
7 $75,292
8 $77,174
9 $79,104
10 $81,081

18 FIXED
YOS First Officer
1 $69,188
2 $71,610
3 $77,537
4 $80,251
5 $83,060
6 $88,495
7 $91,593
8 $93,882
9 $96,229
10 $98,635

Good point. Corp and Frax are different beasts.

But I must admit. Using the 7 year loyalty bit compared to a 7 year fo at 75K is tempting.

worst case scenario the boss says no and I move on. Nice to know there are some good paying gigs out there.

you're right, those are hardly average!

Thanks gentlemen for the advice and the numbers.

cheers!

If it's of interest to anyone, the 18-day Fixed pays 21.65% more than the 7/7. The 15-day Flex pays 10% more than the 7/7 baseline. Those numbers are for the IBB TA.
