Avatars missing?

I just bought a new laptop and can't get anyones avatar anymore? I only see the cartoon characters? Do I need a special photo program to read these? Help!

Can't help you with the problem, but looking at some of the avatars you definately gonna want that fixed!!

1) Right click on the avatar.

2) Save picture as... (pick a file to place it)

3) Click "Save"

thanks, but if you do it that way it's only 7kb "big" and not really great as wallpaper.

If you you go to the "user cp" button at the top of the webpage then go to "options". There is an option in there that asks if you want to see other peoples avatars. Hope that helps.

I have that option on yes, it was one of the first things I checked. This is really baffling, I can only see avatars that are cartoons, no custom ones.
