Yeah, I suppose it's "luck of the draw" in the sense that when you flight train you're probably only going to get trained in one or the other.
As a dual qualed pilot I have to say the yeah, the glass is nice, but geez, it's the same plane. The airframe is the same, the speeds are the same, the systems are the same, and most importantly the pay is the same.
I'd caution anyone from getting too worked up whether they fly the I or the II. There is certainly zero amount of II qualled guys looking down there noses at solely I qualled guys. Like I said...it's the SAME plane. Glass is nice but it's just a presentation.
