In terms of "new jet" are you referring to the Premier or the rumored Hawker Horizon jet that I have heard (can't confirm it)?

They plan on hiring 8 a month for the rest of the year, 9 new Avanti's this year, and more next year. They are supposed to get more Premeir I's, but I've heard from some friends that they may get something bigger.

Also, there is a training contract. It's $18k for one year, with no pro-ration.

haven't heard anything about another new jet but got an email from the CP, said he was too busy still but "wants to interview soon"

don't know what "soon" means but I am still interested but getting impatient

How do upgrades work at Avantair? I searched but didn't see it. I know there's certain mins for the left seat...but assuming you meet them, are they by seniority or some other system? Thanks in advance!
