I got one of these made about two years ago from the upholstery shop that made my custom floor cushion for my dog. I gave them the vinyl not so great one I got with my plane to use as a template and it came out great. @Tsquared asked me about glare issues and I told him what I use and it solves that problem too, looks far nicer for our stupid expensive cubs, and your phone and other things don't slide around, on and on. So I had 5 made when I went to get @Tsquared's made and they sold immediately. So I have 5 more getting made as they seem to be in high demand. They're not cheap, they are $200/each but worth it.

SOLD OUT - I have no plans to get more made unless an order of 10 or more is made such as by dealers or CubCrafters.

As I have to put a good chunk of change up to get these made I don't know what I will do after these 5 go, I may need pre-orders and collect money before the next batch gets made. I don't know which cubs this works in as I have a FX-3 so look at the design and see if it matches your glareshield and if you want one contact me ASAP, first come first serve.

I got them made locally. I would need more people to get another batch made as it's a bit of money out of pocket.

If you got the cheap vinyl one with your plane take it to a local upholstery shop and ask for a black suede headliner material and make one of the same pattern.

They are only for EX-3/FX-3, I think the X/NX has a different glare shield, not sure about SS so again it's Type specific.

If I can get a few in this thread telling me they want one I'll consider another order. They are $200 each + shipping so I'll likely ask for a $100 deposit prior to getting them made so I don't put out the money and then have to try and sell them later.

So again, if you want one, just reply with how many you want as some bought for friends too last round. If you know any E/FX-3 owners that may want one let them know and to chime in here. I'll gladly get more made if the demand is there. I'd love to get at least 10 at a time made.

The more you all buy the better. If you have EX/FX-3 friends, they'll want one. They are super nice.

I need to go to my plane to get mine and the template and take it to the shop and coordinate. It will probably be towards the end of the week before I have details and start taking deposits.

I stopped by the upholstery shop to order more. Like everything else these days, the price has gone up, however, I was able to negotiate back to the prior price by doubling the order size so I have 20 being made and they say they will be ready next Friday (Dec 12th) but I'll believe that when I hear from them. I'll update the thread when they're available but I can take pre-orders now. I will send a message to those that wanted to order to get those in the books. You can pay half as a deposit or full up front, entirely up to you.

Please help spread the word to any E/FX-3 owner or prospective owner as I want to move these, not collect them.
