I hope that this incident is just one plane. (sand in engines) There was another crew in AGS yesterday that was going to check on an aircraft that was being borescoped because of the same issue.

Also it was amazing to hear how many folks were asking for progressives to the runway. 3 out of 4 requested help getting to the departure end. I'm not saying one shouldn't ask for help if you need it, but a quick glance at a airport diagram reveals 2 main taxiways running down he sides of the runway, this ain't O'Hare.

Yeah, I don't get it either. I sat for five minutes waiting for a LR that arrived at the run up area first to move, then said frig it, and took off. These jet drivers just take way to much time to figure out how to read the manual.
 
Maybe for cases like was described is why they have that holding box at AGS for the citations. They can congregate together and run their motors. There was a bunch of them yesterday.
