Since TP has gone, I don't know how it is there, but it has to be better since then. She was a very good instructor, but EXTREMELY bad with people. I don't know much about the new guy running the show, though.

One thing is for sure......you'll have plenty of students and build time fast.

Is the pay "liveable"? (i.e. can I give up a 50k job to CFI there and still make 35-40ish?)

I suggest that anybody looking for a CFI job at a good school....where the women outnumber the guys 3:1 or so.....APPLY!!! I have no knowledge of their flight school specifically, but I know there are tons of hot chicks there, and they outnumber the guys by far! What other consideration is there?!

If you're looking for a $35K-$40K CFI job, you're gonna be looking for a LONG time. If you make $20K, you'll be real lucky.

However, I can fully confirm the hot chicks theory. There are a TON of them there. It's kind of like one of those mail order russian bride tours. There are just so dam-n many of 'em, you could be a complete retard and still be a player at AU.

There are definately alot of HOT WOMEN down there in cow town. also PLENTY of HOT...RICH... daddy' girls down there. You shouldn't be there lonely unless you are a total dork.

Is that driver's license for John Deere, Kubota, or a horse-and-buggy?

I can validate the hot chicks, I've spent many weekends on that side of the state:beer: ... 3:1, not so sure if it's that big of a gap but there is LOTS of daddy's money floating round cow town or most any SEC school... Ole Miss, now there's some hot chicks!

LOL ya I figured as much....I made a little over $3k this (last) year doing the CFI thing...thank God my company took me back at a higher pay than before!

Terry isnt there anymore..they have a stand in CP that is an FAA examiner..he is there more or less to make sure there are no screw ups. It might still be a good time to go there..when I graduated this summer they were loosing half of their CFI's to the airlines..and about 3 or 4 of my buds got hired in a week. The folks are barnone, the school is amazing, AND YES THE WOMEN GET NO BETTER THAN IN THE SOUTH!! WAR DAMN EAGLE..I miss that place like crazy

and no...that is hillarious..you will never make 30-40 as a CFI..but at least there are hot women..and many hot girl flight students!
