Well, we've been screwed again. Of course nothing from management except "we are still in talks with United."
Sounds like some if not all of our United Express flying is going away and even if we get some USAir stuff, i don't want it because that is someone elses job we will be taking.
Here's an idea, lets all walk off the job, to hell with this industry. We have remained strong trying to keep the bar high but it hasn't worked. So let's move aside let the bottom feeders have it all. We can walk of the job and watch United burn. I am sure if we didn't show up for work it would have some impact on those bastard's. There should be no reason to feel bad either because they have screwed us and our family's and now we can return the favor. It's the last option so instead of waiting for the inevitable lets just end it now and walk off the job. It's just not worth it anymore.

I think the whole industry should walk off the job. Another Great Depression would follow quickly. Who would be in control then?

People move on from this industry everyday for the very legitimate reasons you mention. It's a reasonable decision to make. Good luck.

I feel horrible for the Air Willy clan. You are a classy group and you don't deserve this.

I hope United and Air Willy management rot in hell for this.

Moto you sure said it!

I am sick to death of this graveyard spiral this industry is in. THE JOB IS NOT WORTH IT. Schedules suck, pay sucks, airports suck, commuting sucks, and most importantly the idiot skywest dork who said that AWAC pilots are sissies in a previous thread probably sucks the most if you know what I mean.

NEWSFLASH------Outdated Leather jackets with epaulets are not cool! Repeat they are not cool. (Indy folks you guys got the right idea, yours are pretty cool)

Like moto said we should all walk away. I personally am walking away as soon as my wife gets her masters degree, 10 months and counting and I am outa here.

I remember hearing those very same words from ACA mgmt. about 2 years ago. Maybe Air Whiskey can go on its own or join the ACA Way. Does anyone still have a copy of the ACA Way? That thing was hilarious.

Thank goodness we didn't have these defeatest attitudes in Dubya-Dubya Two. We would all "spricht Deutsches unter dem gleichen Nazi CEOs."

I think at the very least, if we are to lose all of it, no more going out of our way to make things work. No more calls to Dispatch or MX on the cell phone. I will walk into the terminal and use a pay phone. No more calling to let them know we are ready to board, need commisary, lav, etc. The pilots do a great deal extra to make our performance as good as it is. We don't deserve this treatment, and I bet we could bring UAL to their knees by just doing our minimal job description.

I'm not involved with the Air Whisky deal so I will refrain from commenting farther than this... but I know exactly what you are saying. Amen.

Well rightrudder,
consider this, lets do just the opposite, then when we have left UA, the numbers will speak for themselves. Nice little stick it to ya!!
Cheers
