Is there any general rules about moving the aircraft before the AI is spooled up and ready to go (no flags)? I fly a Citation I and we had problems with the AI giving false indications (after flying for a while) so we started waiting until the AI is ready before taxiing and this seemed to cure the problems. When we had these problems MX would replace the gyro and ground test and say it was OK. I also fly a Citation V and we used to taxi the airplane while it was still warming up and never had any problems, there might not be any correlation because the V is 15 years newer but I don't know.

I know I should look this up in the AFM (45 minute drive to the airport), but I don't recall reading anything and I have gone thru my Simcom and Simuflite manuals and no mention of waiting. The only thing I remember is a 3 minute wait time with an EFIS Meggit standby system.
