Please do not accept any GO JETS pilots on your aircraft that may be trying to Jumpseat. The union has tried to LEGALLY publish this information but cannot. It is affraid of infringing on the rights of management and has a good relationship with them. They cannot jeapardize this.

Please pass it along to your CAPT/FO and even the FA's. Go Jets Pilots are not allowed on Express Jet A/C.

GOJet guy trying to jumpseat:

CA: You want to jumpseat? Well, nothing in our FOM or ops specs, or the union says you can't, but some guy on a forum named skootertrash say you couldn't. So sorry, too bad.

Seriously, I wouldn't worry about any Freedom or GoJet types getting a free ride--at least not on one of my flights.

I've been trying to find trips with STL in them just so I can have the chance to squash one of those guys like the bugs they are.

GoJet pilots can kiss both sides of my a**.

What if they have a ticket?

Then we'll never know. Just like if YOU had a ticket. :D

They surely won't be riding for free.

Question for the TSA guys:

Will the Ho-Jet ID be different than the current TSA ID?

I do a couple of STL turns this month and want to make sure not a single one of these "not-quite-scabs-but-close" gets a free ride on a bird that I'm flying.

GEEEZ I hope so I know yall are trying to do us a favor and we sure do appreciate it..! Just hope us TSA pilots dont get mixed up in the fray. I understand the NO GO JET badges will be different than our TSA badges. TSA badges clearly state TSA and have a sky background. Thanks for the support. Fly Safe!!

STINKER
HMMM...Vienna Suasages or the beef jerky.... ahhh choices......

I can't speak for anyone else, but for me. TSA guys will be safe. If I cannot be certain it's a Ho-Jet puke, I will error on the side of caution and let the person ride. This will insure that no TSA guy gets wrongfully "weight and balanced" out of the equation. Cheers.

How hard-up do you suppose a 'Go-Jet' guy is going to be to go to CLE, EWR, or IAH? I support the TSA guys as much as everyone else, but some of you guys sound like you'll cream your pants the day you throw off a Go-Jet pilot. Seriously try putting that energy into your Playstation. When going to work for an outfit like Go-Jet, the individual knows quite well that he/she is going to have a rough time getting a jumpseat. That's why all most all won't even bother trying.

All this bluster may very well lead to what STINKER is afraid of, a stand-up TSA guy getting tossed off by a chest thumping XJT meathead.

Me neither, but I MIGHT be biased . . . .heh, heh, heh. It's the Cactus guys who I think are first class pricks (but they get to ride anyway). Everyone has their little prejudices.

BTW, before you start bumping Freedom types, you should know that roughly 350 Mesa pilots are about to be involuntarily displaced with their aircraft over to the Freedom certificate. (all the newly Mesa Air Group acquired Delta-flying is gonna be on ERJ's being transfered to Freedom for scope relief issues)

Freedom, in its current incarnation, is 100% ALPA and ALPA-approved ---for those of you who can't take a dump w/o Dwane's permission.

Of course they will have a completely differtent ID! They are a COMPLETELY Different Company.

This jumpseat war is a joke. You guys said it about Freedom whay back because it was non-union, it never worked they still got rides. You guys said it about Colgan/Gulfstream, no one cared they still got on. You guys said it about TSA/CHQ when they start AA flying, no one cared, never worked. Now you say it about an UNION SHOP, that is owned by a parent company, that you have not even seen their contract not knowing if they are even under cuting anyone.

By this logic, I should start denying my jumpseat to every airline that has differnet unions, or same parent companies with different contracts which is alot of airlines out there, or just deny it because I don't like there CBA....

So all you Captians out there with little penises, who need to feel big, you should deny the jumpseat to:

ASA ComAir Delta owned by same Parent Company, different CBA
SkyWest non-union
AA and AE pilots owned by the same Holding Company, different CBA/Union
SkyWest CHQ TSA MESA because they under cut Air Wiskey
CoEx CAL were once own by the same Holding Compnay
UsAir and MidAltanic they are the same deal
TSA Mesa CHQ because their contracts are below Industry Average

The list can go on and on ....

Can't you guys just make it simple? It's easy, in support of the TSA pilots Express Jet should not let Go Jets pilots on the Jumpseat. Nice and simple.

Dude, just go fly your non union CRJ 700 for $10 an hour and STFU already.

Seafeye,

How long have you been at TSA? What bad decisions has the MEC made? And are you willing to offer any solutions to make YOUR union more powerful, or are you going to sit back and continue to b!tch about your situation and your job?

I also don't think i am "Political" enough to work for the Union.

That makes you the prefect candidate. Fresh new blood, that does not drink the kool-aid.

An MEC is only as strong as the pilots it represents. (Me, 2003)

Yeah, and I'm sure you gave them a good reason to be that way too. I've only been here 10 months and I've heard some of the "freedumn" stories. YOU guys (if your one of them sir) had some set of balls back then mouthing off to mainline guys the things you all said.
